Marta Munte Pattern Designer and Illustrator

I’m Marta, a Pattern Designer and Illustrator based in Barcelona, near the sea. My days are filled with crafting intricate patterns for fabric and wallpaper, as well as creating beautiful illustrations to adorn walls.

I love to design patterns that tell stories, with cute, quirky and friendly characters  so little ones can wear fun clothes that awaken their imagination and stimulate their creativity.

My designs are always a blend of fun, freshness, and a clean aesthetic. I am truly passionate about infusing vibrant colors, creating lively palettes with a touch of vintage charm.

To bring my ideas to life, I have an endless collection of pencils and then I work my magic using programs like Illustrator, Photoshop, or Procreate.

My designs have been licensed in various markets including fabric, children’s clothing, bottles, stationary, wall art, wallpaper, greeting cards, and children’s games.  You can find my work at Runbott, Phoebe Fabrics, Apli Kids games, Miquel Rius stationary, Usborne publishing, and Nuovo Group greeting cards among others.
